This week we are taking a look at another common yoga pose in most asana practices - tabletop.
Tabletop pose helps to strengthens the muscles of the arms, shoulders and abdomen. It is a good weight bearing exercise for joints (and a great alternative for downward facing dog when dealing with any shoulder or wrist injuries). It also provides the foundation for many other poses, like the ones practices in this flow. In the video below, we take a look at a couple ways to enhance traditional tabletop with props:
