Feeling grateful to be back after another week at Carolina Beach. It's the third year in a row that we have vacationed here. We've come to really love pleasure island and this trip did not disappoint. After all the places we've been over the last year, this trip still came out on top! I love the food on vacation and I'll start with my favorite - deserts! I am obessed with the raspberry lemonade gelato from Latella Gelato on the boardwalk and the homemade donuts from Celtic creamery are so good, I went back twice! One day I walked to a really cute and trendy cafe, Malama, and enjoyed a lavender latte and berry waffle.
We spent a lot of time scooting around, checking out cool places like - Carolina Beach State Park, Ft Fisher Recreation Area and Greenfield Lake.
Of course, we spent some time in the water bodyboarding and paddleboarding. We even saw a couple dolphins by the dock where we were staying - and an amazing sunset (pictured below).
