My favorite go-to yoga pose

Many people assume that in order for a practice to be effective, it needs to be complicated or time-consuming. However, this is not always the case. In fact, simple practices can often be more sustainable and easy to incorporate into our daily lives.

One example of a simple practice that can have a big impact is Legs Up in the Chair Yoga Pose, also known as Viparita Karani. It’s a simple yet effective yoga pose that offers numerous health benefits. By elevating your legs above your heart while lying on your back and resting them on a chair, you can improve blood flow, reduce tension in your lower body, and promote relaxation. This pose can also help alleviate symptoms associated with anxiety and insomnia. It's recommended that you stay in this pose for at least five minutes, but you can stay longer if you wish. Incorporating Legs Up in the Chair into your daily routine can leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to take on whatever the day may bring.

Ultimately, the key to a successful practice is finding something that works for you and that you enjoy. It doesn't have to be complicated or time-consuming, but it should be something that you look forward to doing each day. What's your favorite go-to pose?
