Spring is back! Celebrate the turn of the seasons in style — and the return of Spring — with a half-day Spring Equinox retreat in Denton, NC.

We will be meeting on Saturday March 18th from 9am to 1pm. Cost of the retreat is $95 (Studio members receive a discount, message us for details). There is a limit to 5 participantsThis half day retreat is all about setting the ground for spring renewal! Before you can plant new seeds, however, you must till the hardened soil.

The spring equinox represents the natural shift into longer days, brighter sun and "springing" forward. There's a sense of momentum and renewal that we experience this time of year. We've got many hopes, plans and projects germinating.

But it's important that we strive for balance between the ever-increasing demands of our lifestyles and mindful rest. Many folks believe they can extend themselves indefinitely, but overburdening the body and mind will lead to exhaustion and burnout.

We will explore ways in which our yoga practice can be used as a catalyst for transformation, and help us shift and unlearn stagnant patterns and deeply ingrained habits - also known as samskaras - preparing fresh soil for for the new seeds of Spring transformation.

Groups are small, with lots of space and personal attention. No experience is necessary and beginners are very welcome.

Fresh herbal teas and home-made treats are also included. Supplies for practice, planting and art activity will be provided. You're welcome to bring along your own yoga props if you'd like.

Celebrating special occasions with like-minded people is always a powerful experience, so make plans to join us at this yoga retreat and step into Spring.

We kindly ask you to stay at home if you are sick or have had a fever + join us at the next retreat.

I'm afraid that at this time, this facility is NOT wheelchair accessible. If that prevents you from joining, please reach out to see about other options. I've also got information on how I'm making this event more accessible for neurodivergent folks, down below.
